Old Arizona, a center for performing and media arts, is located at the intersection of Nicollet Avenue and 29th Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota, just five minutes south of the downtown business district. Busy year-round, the center hosts an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary theatrical productions, dance performances, concerts, commercial film and video productions, screenings, CD release parties, weddings and receptions, special occasion parties, and corporate events. They also offer homemade soups, sandwiches, and baked goods. This unique wine shop may be small, but it has a big, big heart. Entrepreneurs and wine enthusiasts Darcy Knight and Elizabeth Trumble run this oasis of interesting wines, with the goal to provide great customer service and a unique selection of wine, beer and spirits at affordable prices. The shop stocks a diverse assortment of labels, most of which you won't find in larger liquor stores. Approximately 80% of the wines are priced under $20, and about 25% are priced under $10. Each month we will select one of our favorite top quality wines to feature as Old Arizona's Wine of the Month. Old Arizona plays a significant role in the economic and cultural development of the Whittier neighborhood.
